At Pesties.au, we believe in doing the job properly and being upfront with our customers. That includes being clear about what’s covered by our warranty and what’s not.

What We Do Cover

For general pest treatments, we offer the following warranties:

  • Internal Cockroaches and Ants – 6-month warranty

  • External Webbing Spiders – 3-month warranty

These warranties apply to standard residential infestations and are designed to give you peace of mind after your treatment.

What’s Not Covered

  • German Cockroaches – These pests breed fast and can be highly resistant to treatments. While we provide highly effective solutions for German cockroach problems, we don’t offer warranty on German cockroach infestations.

  • External Ants – Even with a dedicated ant treatment, there’s no warranty for external ants. They often return from surrounding areas and will remain until the previously placed product takes effect. These return visits from neighbouring colonies are unfortunately, impossible to prevent.

Severe Infestations and First-Time Visits

If this is our first time treating your property and you’re dealing with a severe infestation, please understand that:

  • Multiple treatments might be required

  • Warranty coverage does not apply in these cases

To help get things under control quickly and affordably, we offer booster treatments at heavily discounted rates. Even with a follow-up, you’ll often still come in under the price charged by firms offering longer guarantees.

In the vast majority of cases, full warranty will be offered without issue. However in cases of severe infestations (visible cockroach droppings, live activity in internal areas, egg casings in cupboards and other internal areas), our technician will advise you of your options.

Garages & Converted Spaces

For warranty purposes, garages are considered to be external areas due to the fact that they are not sealed, and cockroaches and/or ants can enter at any time unobstructed. As such, we do not warrant against ingress of cockroaches or ants to garages, whether the garage area has been converted to a living space or otherwise. 

The Way We Treat

We use premium-grade products, mixed at the highest strength permitted by the label. We don’t dilute, and we don’t cut corners. Everything is safe for humans, dogs, and cats once dry. We’ll advise you about any specific considerations for pets like fish or birds during your visit.

Rather than bundle the cost of return visits into a higher price up front, we keep your initial service affordable and only recommend boosters if genuinely needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why don’t you offer a 12-month warranty like some other companies?
We focus on quality over gimmicks. Our treatments are strong, professional-grade, and mixed at full label strength. Your money goes into effective service, not into padding out the price for follow-up treatments you may not need.

What happens if I still see bugs after treatment?
You may notice some pest activity for up to four weeks after treatment. That’s completely normal. It’s also normal to see cockroaches or ants wandering in from outside, as no treatment can prevent pests from entering altogether.

What matters is whether they’re breeding inside. If you start seeing baby cockroaches or suspect internal nesting, that’s when you should get in touch. We’ll assess the situation and let you know if a follow-up is needed.

Can I clean or mop after the treatment?
Yes, just avoid mopping or scrubbing the edges of treated areas for 5 to 7 days. That way the product can continue working.

Why don’t you offer a warranty on German cockroaches or external ants?
They’re tough. German cockroaches breed fast and are often resistant. External ants can return from nearby properties. We’ll always do our best, but we won’t offer a guarantee where we can’t stand by the result.

Do I need to leave the house during treatment?
Not usually. Your technician will start outside and talk you through the best plan once we move inside. You’re fine to stay home in most cases, just be cautious of slippery surfaces until everything dries. Our products are low toxicity and completely safe once dry.
