The hard part is the colony. The cockroaches breeding in roof voids and wall cavities, the nymphs maturing into the next generation. Hardware-store pyrethroid sprays kill foraging ants and cockroaches but fracture the colony, triggering it to split into multiple sub-colonies (a process called budding). What was one ant trail becomes three.
Ants and cockroaches are social insects. They share food and chemicals with their nestmates through a behaviour called trophallaxis. The fipronil-based non-repellent products we use work with this behaviour rather than against it. A foraging ant or cockroach picks up a small dose, returns to the nest, and shares it with dozens of nestmates through normal social food exchange before the dose becomes lethal. One targeted application can eliminate an entire colony including the queen or breeding adults that pyrethroid sprays will never reach.

We use thermal imaging cameras and moisture meters per the AS 3660.2 inspection standard. Thermal imaging picks up active termite galleries behind walls that the eye can’t see. Moisture meters confirm whether a stain is actually active termite damage or just old water.

It matters whether you’re dealing with German, Australian, American, or Brown-banded cockroaches. They live in different harbourage, respond to different products, and require different treatment depth. We identify by size, colour markings, and where they’re nesting.

what generic pest advice gets wrong

are your treatments safe for children and pets?
Yes. We use APVMA-approved low-toxicity professional products applied in targeted locations. Liquid treatments are dry within one to two hours. The property is fully safe for re-entry after drying.
do i need to leave the house during treatment?
For most general pest treatments, we recommend you, your family, and your pets remain out of the house during the service and for 30 to 60 minutes afterwards until the product is dry.
how long does a treatment last?
Annual Guardian is designed for 12 months of protection. 360° Ultimate Protection adds RoofProtect and PerimeterShield for deeper coverage. Annual treatment is the recommended baseline.
what’s the difference between annual guardian and 360° ultimate protection?
Annual Guardian focuses on the structure. 360° Ultimate adds PerimeterShield (fence lines, gardens, sheds, pool zones) and RoofProtect (insecticide dust + rodent baiting in roof void). Warranty extends from 6 to 12 months.
do you provide same-day or emergency service?

what about german cockroaches?
German cockroaches require our Roach Reset treatment. The standard PestiesProtect+ warranty doesn’t cover German cockroaches due to their breeding behaviour, but Roach Reset+ includes a follow-up treatment six weeks later.
