- Lasting infrastructure. The stations remain after treatment. If rodents attempt to return, the deterrent is already in place. They can be re-baited at low cost if needed.
What to expect
Rodent activity typically drops within 3 to 5 days of installation. Most infestations are resolved within 7 to 14 days. Your technician will walk you through exactly what to expect before leaving.

Are your treatments safe for children and pets?
Yes. We use professional-grade, low-toxicity products that are applied in accordance with Australian standards and label requirements. Once treatments are dry and re-entry times have been observed, they are absolutely safe for people and pets.
Do I need to leave the property during the treatment?
Not usually. In most cases, we begin with the external component of the treatment, so you’re completely fine to remain inside during that stage. When we move indoors, most clients simply step outside or relax in an untreated area for a short period while products are applied and allowed to dry. We do recommend avoiding treated surfaces until fully dry, and we’ll always let you know exactly what’s required on the day.
What if I book online and my preferred booking date isn’t available?
Once you book online, we'll be in contact as soon as possible to lock in your date and time. If your preferred date is unavailable, we’ll do our best to find another suitable option. If a suitable date and time can't be found, we'll provide a fast, no-questions-asked refund.
How long does the treatment take?
Most standard pest treatments take between 45 minutes and 1 hour depending on the size of the property and the type of treatment being carried out.
Will I need to empty cupboards or move furniture?
Only if you're seeing signs of infestations in these areas. Sighting cockroach droppings under the kitchen/bathroom sink? Clearing these areas out will allow us to achieve a significantly better result for you. Most of the time for general pest treatments, we typically only require clear access around skirting boards and key activity areas. Severe German cockroach treatments or certain specialised services may require additional preparation, which we’ll advise beforehand.
How long does it take for the treatment to work?
Some pests will die quickly, while others can take days or even weeks depending on the species and treatment method used. Ants, for example, often require transfer back through the colony, while cockroach activity can temporarily increase as hidden populations are affected.
Do you offer a warranty?
Many of our services include a service warranty period. Warranty length depends on the treatment selected and the pest being targeted. Full warranty information is shown on the product page before booking.
How do I claim on the warranty?
Simple. Take a photo of the pest activity as you observe it, and send it through to us. We'll happily book you in for a follow up visit at no cost.
What happens if I still see pests after the treatment?
Seeing some ongoing activity shortly after treatment can be completely normal, especially with larger infestations. It's also completely normal to see the 'occasional' cockroach wander in from the outside world. So long as they're dying shortly thereafter, the treatment is doing its work.
Our products have a wide variety of 'modes of action' from quick kill, to transfer effect, to growth regulation. And although you can expect an immediate drop in pest activity, there may be lingering activity as our products work their way back into hidden harbourages. As such, we recommend waiting a full 6 weeks before engaging us for a service call for residual pest activity.
And if you are observing persistent pest activity after 6 weeks following treatment, simply simply take a quick pic, send it through to us via the same channel that you booked your service through, and we'll happily book you in for a no-cost service call.
Are your technicians licensed and insured?
Yes. All treatments are carried out by fully licensed pest management professionals. Pesties.au is also QBCC licensed, and of course, fully insured.
Do I need to be home during the treatment?
Not necessarily. Many clients choose to provide access instructions while they’re at work or out for the day. As long as we can safely access the required areas, we can usually complete the treatment without you being home.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all card payments and AfterPay online, and card or cash onsite.
We may be able to accept AfterPay onsite, depending on your AfterPay account permissions.
Can weather affect my treatment?
A few showers are okay, but heavy rain can affect external treatments, particularly for some outdoor pest activity. If weather conditions are likely to impact results or safety, we’ll contact you to reschedule if needed.
